Wednesday update

Hi everyone!

Ok, so mercury retrograde is starting and I have been feeling its effects for a bit. I got a speeding ticket last week. Bah! I know I am irritable with things and people (at work) when I know I shouldn't be. I was introduced to another new astrology related site - http://www.davidcammegh.com/ and his actually videotapes his forecasts. Interesting character and gave some insight into October. Visit yourself and see if there's anything worth taking away!

I'm hostessing a Wine Taste/fully Simple party on Nov. 6. It will be fun! Wine tasting a bit and tasting the yummy Tastefully Simple items will be a fun girly night and will help give everyone ideas for hosting during the holidays! Look for your invitation arriving to your mailboxes soon!

In scrappy chat, I'm looking forward to doing some creative projects instead of regular layouts. Some will entail creating gift items for my lovey dears this holiday season and a mini-book or two that I just want to attempt. I am bringing my sewing machine into the "tool" mix and will post my first creation, good or bad. I'm finding inspiration on http://www.teresacollinsdesigns.com/ and of course Ali Edwards' blog. Making Memories, Scarlet Lime, and Prima Marketing have had some cool things posted lately also. I have the Bind-it-all machine and the Slice on my wish list. Also wanting to get my hands on some of the great teresa items, too, even though I have to order online. Oh! and my sister Amy created her first three layouts this weekend. I believe they were for her honeymoon. I'm so excited to see them and can't believe she actually did it.

In other news, Millen is fired today - he's now the Detroit Lion's boss that bombed. Looking forward to seeing the first debate on TV on Friday. I have to DVR and then watch on Saturday morning but at least I can fast forward thru commercials and rewind if I want to hear something over. And, maybe Kevin will watch. He still has a week to be convinced to register to vote.

I'm officially over half-way through Twilight and already peeked forward. Bad, I know. I hate the suspense. LOL It's ok so far. I'm not in love but the series will be entertaining enough to possibly read them all. I'm trying desperately to not get hooked back into TV. I have a few shows I like to watch and I want to keep it that way.

Look for updates soon to include where I visit (websites, blogs, etc.) and what I'm reading, listening to, and working toward. For today's fun: http://www.blogthings.com/whatstherecipeforyourpersonalityquiz/
